| - My experience with the grove is not good at all!! When we first saw the grove, Zina showed us a reception room and the place we would get married, so when we decided to book our wedding for June 7, 2015, we ended up going lower on our budget so we said we only needed 50 ppl to come which of course was another price lower than the original, but when I put the deposit down on Dec. 27, 2014, Zina left out the part about another reception room for the smaller package & making another appointment to show the smaller room to us. So it was our food tasting night on Feb. 18, 2015, when Zina said which package do you have again? I said the 50 or less, so that's when we learned from Zina that oh, you guys have the smaller room, and my fiance and I said ''what smaller room''? & she said the room right next to this one (we were in the original one we were shown the first time) we said ''can we see it'', and Zina said ''yes'. So as we walk over and into the smaller room, my fiance and I looked at each other and knew this room was not good, not only was it way too small, but picture it being the 7 dwarfs cottage! It was not good. So we told Zina we were not happy and she said she would be on the office on the 20th of Feb. and would talk to the owner, and see if there was no other wedding but ours, then we could be moved to the big room for an extra $300 dollars, so we said ''okay''.
I called on Feb 20, 2015, & the person who ended up picking up the phone was a lady named Donna, I asked to speak to Zina, she said ''she's not in'' can I help you with anything, so I told her the situation, she said ''she would talk to the owner and Zina and see what we could do''. I said ''okay'', she called back and then said that we would have to go either to the bigger package which $2000 upgrade, or we would have to change our time from 5 p.m. To 12:30 p.m. and pay the extra $300. I told her we would think about it and I would call her back. I talk to my fiance, and some of the wedding party and they said that is not fair, so I left a message asking to speak to the owner.no one called me back, so I called back again, explaining it to another girl in the office, because Zina and Donna we're doing weddings, overall Donna called back, and only said that we could go to 1230p and pay an extra $300, my fiance call me on the phone and I asked her why should we be responsible for their mistake, Donna started saying that we were bullying her and she wouldn't listen at all to what we had to say, she just kept arguing and over talking us. then she said ''she's going to hang up on us and she did, next thing you know I look at my email about 20 minutes later, and she canceled my fiance and I's wedding, with no warning or anything and refunded us our deposit. now my fiance and I have to figure out how we're going to reverse fart invitations get a new venue in the matter of three months before our big day! I would never recommend this place!
