I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in Merchant Firearms. I went there based on a recommendation from a retired police officer that I respect. The entire affair has been a comedy of errors. I recently bought a pistol and rifle. While purchasing the pistol, I asked about CCW courses and was told the next one was March 18th, but it was full but the were going to have a second one on the next day. I asked him to sign me up as well as my wife. I got home and noticed on the receipt that he had not charged me for that. I called back, verified that there was indeed a CCW course on March 19, provided our names and contact info, I paid for it and received a receipt by email. Of course, on March 19, after waiting for 45 minutes, my wife and I decided there was no class and left. My wife is a Dean of a School of Business and a Dean for a School of Information and Technology. Getting her to schedule something is a nightmare. I am a retired military officer and a retired professor. I know when an organization is not working well and yours is not. I just checked their website and it clearly states they offer AZ CCW permits the third weekend of the month, on Saturday and Sunday.
