This review is hard to write. I want to give them five stars but there's some things that are just not worthy of five! Let me start by saying this place has one of the best tattooing atmospheres in the world. You'll never find a more comfortable place. I've gotten my ass tattooed here before and wasn't anything other than comfortable here. I understand tattoo shops are like profession sports and artist get moved around a lot but this place was at their peek when Leland worked here. Hands down the best tattoo artist in Arizona. One instance tho I made an appointment and was tattooed by someone who was working there for a week while he was in town from California. Worst tattoo I have to be honest. Sloppiest work. His Lettering was average but the Breast cancer ribbon he tatted on me is the most crooked thing in the world. Tattooing isn't easy but if you can't do it you just can't. And he couldn't. Now the owner of this place is one of the funniest men alive. He's rarely there but when he is you're in for a treat. James the other tattoo artist is very good Aswell and a very laid back likeable guy. The shop owners son who does the piercings is awesome as well and does a great job! The problem is they casually take smoke breaks in the back and we aren't talking about cigarettes. That's part of the lifestyle but its permanent ink. Getting tatted by someone high is a little nerve wrecking. The other man there Brian has also done work on me and again he's very good with designs and patterns but his lettering is terrible. Overall it's just the luck of the draw when you go in. Ask for James if he's still there or search for Leland at other shops. You won't regret it. This place is very clean though and a great time. A dozen tattoos from this shop and only two to complain about and one of them the guy didn't really even work there.
