Had a wonderful Mothers Day brunch. It's about the ambiance as much as the food; it was a beautiful day.
We enjoyed the prix fixe menu and opted for mimosas to be included.
My mom enjoyed a mushroom and fennel tart, a wonderful halibut entre with mussels and risotto and her favorite, strawberry shortcake dessert. I had an excellent crab gazpacho, salted caramel and chocolate french toast that was soggy...the toast was drowned in the chocolate and "caramel" sauce, so much so I only had a few bites; too mushy and sweet. But I should have stuck to my inner voice and gone with another choice... Un detoured, I continued to enjoy the total experience of brunch with my mom and the beautiful surroundings and finished every bite of my passion fruit cheesecake dessert.
We were well attended by our waiter and unhurried.
Yes it was pricey, but no complaints. Elements continues to be our go to for special occasions.
