This place is a gem. If you like a laid back ambiance, great food and don't mind a wait, you'll be happy here. As you enter, you go straight to the registers (or to the back of the long line!!) and order there. They have menus by the registers, as well as specials written on the chalk boards, so you can be prepared to order by the time you reach the front. Once you've placed your order they'll give you a number and you can find your seat. Breakfast and lunch are both delicious, I think you're safe with any food choice here! It's all very fresh and well prepared/plated. The thing that impressed me most with Marigold on my most recent visit was the service. My mom and I arrived for a late lunch a few minutes before 2 pm. We were not rushed, took our time ordering, and enjoyed a leisurely lunch outside. As we were finishing up, I wondered aloud what time they closed, as it dawned on me that it was pretty quiet. They close at 2!!! OOPS! I feel terrible that we came and ordered soo close to closing and then took our sweet time. We would have never done that had we known. But this is why I left feeling so impressed with their service. The young man working the register was perfectly polite and did not say or do anything to make me believe he didn't want us there. He took my order "for here" as though nothing were strange about it at all. The woman who brought our food was also very polite and we were never made to feel rushed or as though we were unwanted in their space during our meal. I would like to offer my apologies to the staff for staying so far passed close... but also praise them up and down for wonderful service!
