  • Ah yes Markville Mall. Back in 98 or 99 I by chance caught a teenaged Britney Spears on her first tour of Canada. Back before her first album came out, before she was famous and when she was playing suburban malls instead of stadiums. I had no idea who she was nor did many other people there that day. She lip-synced Hit Me Baby or whatever that song was called on a stage set up by the escalators on the lower level in the centre of the mall. Not really a review just a fond Markville memory of randomly seeing Britney Spears back when people were asking "Britney who?"
