  • I just returned form a road trip to Montreal where I tried 3 spas in 3 days, and this was my favourite. The venue felt the most luxurious, it was the most beautifully decorated, and there were plenty of things to try - a couple steam rooms, a couple saunas (both aromatherapeutic, one with bergamot essential oil and the other lavender!), two hot tubs, a few cold tubs, and one temperate pool. The hot tubs were just wonderful - I could have soaked in the top floor one all night. Plus the relaxation areas were awesome - the hanging chairs were SO comfortable. The whole vibe was just very modern and chic. Plus the crowd there was also the youngest - lots of young and fit people - but that could be because of when we went, which was a Sunday night, when they had a slight discount. If they were willing to put more money into renovating the changerooms, there would be no competition. Because the changerooms really paled in comparison to their immediate competitor across the street, and though there were rainfall showers (not my cup of tea, but I understand a lot of people like them), there was always a line up for the showers. Plus the changerooms kind of smelled when we first entered, like someone had a GI issue in the washroom. But other than these things, I enjoyed this spa the best. Tip: You have to be conscious of the silence rule on the 3rd and 4th floors (excluding the area you get to by crossing a bridge) - because you will definitely get shushed if you forget and talk!
