| - Honestly, after reading all of the good reviews I was really excited to give this place a try. I want to say that I like my hair, there is nothing wrong with it, and I think the guy did a really good job- it was the price that frustrated me. Over the phone a woman told me highlights were approximately 95 dollars, I said that was reasonable and we set up an appointment with a gentleman that works there. During the appointment, a color correction was made to the first inch or so of my roots and I was unaware that it would cost extra nor was I given the opportunity to really opt out. Then I got a "full head of highlights", however only my roots were done because my ends were already blonde and the stylist told me if I added more bleach they would break. This cost me $195 dollars (150 for the highlights and 45 for the color correction- was my understanding) not including tip, far beyond what I was originally quoted and the worst part is my hair hardly looks different and after I couldn't even afford to get a haircut because it was so much more expensive than I was originally told. While my hair looks good, I just don't think I can ever afford to go back and I think that it is sad that they didn't quote me the right price over the phone, because I would have known that as a broke college kid I could never afford this place. Although my hair looks nice, I don't think I walked away with anything worth $195. Not to mention, my favorite sweatshirt was noticeably bleached during the process.
