  • So I had a bit of an issue at this office. First, I called on a Friday, two days after my appointment only to find they had not yet ordered my glasses. It took about SEVEN TIMES of asking for them and I still could not get an honest answer. Lauren stated that they usually wait TWO DAYS before ordering the glasses, which is lovely for someone to decide that I had two days to waste waiting for them. Unfortunately, my insurance had no record of the order....so they lied. Anyway, I went there this morning, Tuesday, to get my money back b/c I did not appreciate being lied to only Lauren LIED AGAIN. She stated that the glasses were ordered "THAT DAY OF MY APPT", which would have been the Wednesday I was there and not the Friday like she had previously mentioned. Anyway, this Lauren person was unable to process my refund and stated there was a "Visa debit issue" only the next patient used her "visa debit" from the same bank as mine and had no issue whatsoever.....I think the issue was Lauren's inability to figure out how to work that machine. Anyway, so she stated they would have to send me a check. I asked if the Dr. would do it today and she immediately said "NO...he will call his accountant and have him do it". So my issue was not with the Dr. only having to deal with Lauren was really so undesirable. She was so argumentative in defending her office procedures only, by their own admission, they were new to my insurance & Lauren's insistence that they had ordered my glasses was simply not accurate. Had they ordered my glasses "that day" as Lauren stated, they would have already been in the mail. In addition, she stated my insurance takes a month, which is another lie...my insurance, which I have been with for years has never taken more than 2 weeks. Lauren refused to acknowledge anything I was attempting to express about my insurance and would sarcastically cut me off when I would try to speak. She kept talking over me saying "yeah, I know....yeah....I know, what are you gonna do....yeah I know". She was so sarcastic and dismissive. Poor thing....her behavior was quite childish....and in front of other patients. I was so embarrassed by the exchange that I just stopped engaging her and left to handle the issue with my insurance and my bank, who, by the way, took care of this matter for me. Anyway...no more wasting time on this.
