Quick, easy and efficient. That's how I would characterize my one-day stay at this Fairfield Inn located on Independence.
While the room and breakfast was up to expectations (excellent WiFi), getting to (as well as departing) the hotel can be a bit tedious. It just depends on the timing. I was traveling on Independence from Matthews (absolutely brutal) and had to make the U-turn close to the car dealership in order to access the side that the hotel was on. The same goes for departing, if you need to make that left turn to proceed further into Charlotte. Independence Blvd. has to be the most brutal road in all of Charlotte (Tryon is next). Please be careful.
As far as customer service, polite and professional. I really, REALLY appreciate the beer that they have on most nights at the front desk as a courtesy to guests. Its pretty much Michelob, Yuengling, or Landshark, along with a couple wine choices. No big deal. I really appreciate this gesture. Possibly the only Fairfield Inn that I've ever seen do this, which was the most memorable part of my overnight stay.
