| - FIRST: Read the W'n'W story. Only a total dog person would go to the lengths the founders did to create such a space. Phoenix is so lucky his brothers brought the Center to us. SECOND: We're a Shop Local/Eat Local household.
Naturally, W'n'W is the destination for our two pups ~ grain free, holistic, yada yada yada. We met BEAU on our first visit. Great resource in the store: laid back, knows the products, & respects my (nutty) expectations.
Two big dogs needing a bath today. The younger lived at his shelter "longer than any other dog in our history!" With that said, clipping his nails proved a challenge = Vet sent him home 'cause Calder was so unhappy & I didn't want to sedate him. I learned to complete the task but it took me the better part of an hour to trim his nails. STEVE, W'n'W co-owner, introduced me to JAMES as the Nail Clipping Guru after hearing both of my boys' nails clicking on the store's floor as we were heading back to the self serve tubs. Initially I declined a nail clip via my long involved story ending with the typical dog owners "only I can clip his nails"! Their only reply, "Right on." no pressure. SO, I did ask JAMES to give it a try. Ten minutes and both Calder & Basquiat walked around proudly with their trimmed nails. no issue, no behavioral outbursts...nothin'.
This man and his pups left happy, cleaned and trimmed. Peace to W'n'W staff & owners...
