Every single time I drive by this arena, I have two thoughts.
1. "Dear Lord, that place looks too small to house a pro hockey team."
2. "There is gonna be such a parking problem when it opens."
A group of friends and myself went here for a preseason hockey game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Dallas Stars, who just so happen to be my favorite team. When we arrived at the Arena, we were directed to the Aria parking garage since we hadn't prepaid to park. To park at Aria costs $20.00 a car, the same amount that the Arena charges for their prepaid parking. We barely had to walk far at all to get to the entrance, so I figure I'd just Aria park each time, therefore, even if they eventually build more parking structures, the current parking isn't a problem.
The actual Arena must have been designed by Timelords (sorry, couldn't help myself) because it is so much bigger on the inside. We were on the top tier and still had great seats for the entire game.
I can't wait for the inaugural Golden Knights season to bring the Dallas Stars back to town...I plan to attend several more games. Such an amazing arena!
