I really wanted to like this place. When placing our order, the lady had trouble inputting the prices. She seemed all over the place and said she is just ready to be closed for the day. The place closed at 2 and we got there at 130. This was not the issue though.
I ordered the country omelet. The description seems enticing. It was served with hash browns, but theres also hash browns in the omelet. There was sausage inside as well as cheese. It was covered in a sausage gravy. I was looking forwarded to this gravy, but it was tasteless. Just the first bite of the omelet was just lack luster. The dish only improved once I put ketchup, and I don't usually like to use ketchup. But this seemed like a necessity.
I also ordered a chicken soup. The chicken noodle soup was the best item I tried there. It was very chunky and had flavor. It wasn't the best chicken noodle soup I've had, but it was definitely better than the country omelet, in my opinion.
The coffee was good too.
