The problem I have found with distilleries is they do not really age their liquor so it always seems to have some bite to it that good aged liquors lack. Such is the case here, I had the whiskey sour and while it wasn't bad, it want great. In fact I don't think it should be called a whiskey sour; 2oz whiskey, 1oz lemon juice, 1/2 tap sugar. They use lime juice, and while it isn't the worst substitute it isn't a real whiskey sour. The whiskey had a lot of bite, like what comes from cheap whiskey.
This place does well because distilleries are trendy right now and it is located in an area with people who consider themselves trendy as well.
