Bakeries other than Frys and the usual grocery store bakeries are the norm in AZ. So when someone told me that there was a REAL bakery I had to check it out. Being from NJ every town has their local bakery so when I walked in to this place the smell alone reminded me of all the bakeries back home. They even have the string from the ceiling old school way.
We had a bit of a young twit that helped us and she looked absolutely clueless when I asked her if they had Babka during Easter but really who cares. We bought an assortment of cookies, bread and some pastries. This is as close to the east coast as it's going to get here. Their prices were reasonable and their products are delicious. They even had real rolls and rye bread. This will be a tradition for us to go to this bakery just like we did at home. I'm glad to have found this place.
