| - I found my way to this joint a few times while I lived in Cleveland, both for concerts and for the Taste Of Cleveland event. I liked that it was easily accessible via the Rapid (Tower City stop, natch), and its location on the river was rather nice.
Corporate-named large venues like this one automatically earn a few suck points, but I've been to dozens of them around the country and this one wasn't all that bad. As it was basically a big tent with a stage, you did not feel herded into little areas, nor was it hard to navigate. Bathrooms over there, concessions over here, stage right there. Move around as you like (some shows were fully seated, others fully standing room, so I suppose it would change a bit). Sound was un-terrible, and that is a compliment.
I actually kinda miss having this place as an option for concert-going fun...easier to get to than any place in Philly, for one thing. If you are in Cleveland during the summer I'd suggest checking out the schedule posthaste.
