  • Sheep!! Jessie B has been telling me about this park and on our weekend of adventures we visited this gorgeous place. I thought we'd have to walk a ways to see the sheep, but no that's not the case. You park in the tiny parking lot and look up the sheep are right there! This park is right out of a picture. It has lush green grass, a beautiful view of Lake Mead, a cool play ground, bbq's, covered pavilions and did I mention bunnies?!?! They hop all around the edges of the park in the bushes. You can spot them by their fluffy white tails. It's a great place to have a picnic lunch or dinner. You can't help but feel so relaxed in this serene setting. The sheep could care less that you are there as long as you are quiet. People with children please explain prior to coming to this park what quite is. I've gone back since my original trip with Jessie and had my good time interrupted by loud children chasing sheep or bunnies. With parents that let them do these things it totally ruined the atmosphere. I'll be back many more times. I love the majestic look the sheep have and the peacefulness their presence brings. Yay sheep!! Thanks Jessie B for showing me this tranquil spot.
