| - We arrived before our party, and ordered drinks at the bar. The craft beer selection is extensive, so if you have a taste for quality beer, this is the place to go. We ordered the Old Chicago while at the bar, and it made for a delicious addition to the great beer that we were drinking. The ricotta cheese on each slice is the equivalent of the cherry on top of a sundae that you save for last.
Once our party arrived, we decided on the Artichoke Joe and Detroit Red Top to feed the rest of us. Of course, the server was courteous and accommodating. I soon had a different brown ale coming, so I might have the opportunity to sample a small portion of their beer selection.
The Joe came first, and it was delish. I had one slice, but the dollop of sauce on top was once again the focus of my attention. Folding the slice in half meant that it was evenly distributed throughout the slice.
Last, but definitely not least, was the Detroit Red top. It's an intimidating slab of crispy cheese, thick dough, and the signature red sauce. I was already full from the previous pizza and beer marathon, but a cohort and I decided to split a quarter. (the whole slap comes in four pieces, which is ridiculous. The damn thing could feed a small village. It should be 8 to 12 pieces!) I was lucky enough to get the corner piece, because the crust and crispy cheese combination around the edges is mind blowing.
Overall, definitely the best pizza place in Henderson. The three different pizzas that we tried all had completely different themes, including crusts, toppings, and sauces. All three were also delicious. I congratulate the chefs. Well done. The service was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable , and so received a significant tip.
10/10 would bang again.
