I fell on hard times as did many and was forced to find cheap housing and landed on this third-world living state. I chose this place because it is cheap and utilities are included. Hoping to catch up on my bills and all.. But oh my I regret moving here and I cannot wait until my lease is up. I tried to find positives for this place but, there isn't many.
Let me start with the Pros:
-It's cheap.
-close to the I-17
That's about it.
The cons:
-As stated by another review the pools are never open. The pool light has been removed and left on the side with exposed wire left in water. When asked when it would be fixed and re-opened.. was answered with a shrug and " I don't know".
After 8 months the pool light is still open to the water ( a 15-20 amp 120volt circuit which can easily put someone in the hospital) has been in the same condition since moving in
-The staff will bold faced lie to you. About everything. Don't expect any truth if you happen to bring a question to them. They will say what they need to to get you out of the office and out of their hair. They do not care at all. Everyone shows up for a paycheck and that's it. Its sad but very evident wherever you look.
-The heat is barely hot and the ac barely works. My unit only will turn on at maximum settings ( like my other appliances ) but will also drain bucket loads of water all over my bathroom area, to which my management still has not fixed.
-There are bugs. Roaches, bedbugs and fleas are very common. oh my there are bugs. Ive spent well over $200 on combating the bed bugs alone out of my own pocket without any assistance from management. My downstairs neighbor to whom i believe is a meth addict goes on nightly 2am roach killing sprees that awakens everyone around them.
-Hot water is a luxury and comes and goes in a whim. they will let you go without hot water until their inept staff figures out how to fix the problem instead of hiring someone who knows what they are doing. I went 5 days without hot water in the winter months
-Your neighbors consist of crack heads ( meth addicts, welfare recipients or whatever ) , low lives and thieves. Three people have dies since i moved in 8 months ago.
-There is no "courtesy patrol". Do not expect any safety provided by management at all ( as stated in their description)
-Homeless people will break into vacant apartments to steal copper and to bathe. Be prepared to be awaken by someone prying at your window or door on cold nights.
-Hookers and drug dealers are out front all day at entrance
-Laundry facilities are always vandalized. Homeless people seemingly sleep there at night. Washers barely wash, dryers barely dry. Although next plaza over has a great facility, also is cheaper
I understand that you get what you pay for. This place suffers from a complete lack of caring. No pride goes into this place what so ever. The staff and maintenance show up just for a check and its apparent wherever you look. If i can suggest anything I would STAY AWAY at all costs. You would be better sleeping in your car than this place
