This buffet was formerly Hunan VIII/Oriental Buffet (same buffet they just changed the name) and the new ownership has utterly destroyed it. I could feed my family of 6 for less than 30 bucks here, which I can't even do at McDonald's and my last trip was in the forties. I don't mind that price as long as the food is acceptable and it wasn't. They now have a Pho option, which was interesting, and the Sushi was okay, but they ruined their other dishes. They put some giant boat-like buffet table right up in front of the line, which would be cool but it didn't hold anything special and became an obstacle to getting to the other tables. One of the #1 things that I liked about the old ownership was that they made their spring rolls from scratch. Sure, they were just filled with leafy greens, but they were crispy and you can tell when a buffet uses frozen spring rolls because the inside is gummy and mushy. Other than that, the quality of the food didn't really change much, which is why I won't go there anymore. The cost/quality ratio is shifted so that I'd rather pay good money for a high quality buffet, than more money for a mediocre one.
