  • Despite the fact that this is my first review of the Savoy 16, my husband and I have been HUGE fans ever since it was built in the mid 2000s! Refurbed in 2012 into the areas first IMAX theater, Savoy 16 has spent lots of money on upgrades to make your movie watching experience top-notch! One of these upgrades, we were fortunate enough to enjoy this last weekend while seeing The Martian! We sat in the upgraded "luxury" box seats, SUPER LUSH, air-conditioned cool, superbly sublime seats that offered a recliner option. These over-sized offerings provided plenty of SEAT for the old SEAT, if you know what I mean, plus they were amazingly comfortable. For $4 more than a regular seat, do yourself the favor, and at least try them once. I guarantee you an overabundance in the adjective and adverb arena. =D For more than 15 years, and hundreds of movies, we relied on Goodrich Quality and Savoy 16 as our exclusive movie theatre. Now, when we venture back, it's still the only place that ever comes to mind!
