  • I am new in town and my apartment complex does not have an outgoing mailbox so I have been dropping mail off here. Only once did I go somewhere else (actual post office) and so far 4 things (3 checks and a legal document) have not made it to it's destination and it's been 13 days. I'm not sure what is going on and why the mail is taking so long. A couple times I handed the mail to the person there because I was buying stamps and needed to add the postage stamps on my mail. Maybe it never made it to the box behind them and instead the trash. The only common thing is this mail place so I am perplexed on what happened to the mail. I'm going to have to go somewhere else to drop off my mail. Unfortunately, I can't take a chance that they are the problem. Update 10/6/17: My sister said she finally received the important document I mailed on the 19th, but she said it was postmarked 9/30. Then a coworker said he just received a check I sent on 9/22 that was postmarked 9/30 as well. Somebody must have did some house cleaning and mailed my mail on the 30th. So disappointing!
