  • Several friends were in town and they booked dinner at a different restaurant, after the entrees were consumed I suggested we walk a few blocks to Mastro's Ocean Club in the Crystals at CityCenter for desert and nightcap beverages. It's one of my favorite steakhouses in Vegas and #1 choice for outstanding deserts and port wines or a glass of late harvest liquid gold (Far Niente Dolce). Made a quick reservation on Yelp and we showed up around 9:30pm. The bar was lively. I ordered one Chocolate Pudding Cake and one Cherry Crisp, plus the "100 years flight of Port flight" and a glass of Dolce. The dark chocolate pudding cake was warm, fresh, and delicious. The liquid cream and fresh whipped cream, serving of blackberries and mint were exceptional and we all enjoyed. The Cherry Crisp was scrumptious. Highly recommend this venue as the architecture is remarkable, service attentive and friendly (Kaitlyn was wonderful) and it's convenient to The Strip action.
