| - I really wish I could give this place 5 stars, but it's just not quite there. I've been coming here since I moved to Pittsburgh 7 years ago, and it's remained consistent. The food is always very good, the service has remained average and the restaurant is untouched, and not in a good way. This establishment is a poster child for the, "If it Ain't Broke, Don't Fix it", ownership style. I understand that if you have a good customer base and they keep coming back that it's hard to justify making changes, but with so many great new restaurants coming to Pittsburgh, you better tighten up, or you'll get left behind.
For Example:
I love the outdoor seating, but the chairs and tables are awful. I'm not a real big guy, about 200lbs and I'm nervous that I'm gonna break the flimsy dollar store chair. Easy Fix.
The restaurant is tiny and cluttered. There has to be a way to open it up a little and make it feel like the guests and servers aren't right on top of one another.
The menu is old and played out. It's time to start trying some new things. Challenge your chef, he might surprise you. Keep your most popular dishes and Pizza, but give the customer something exciting.
Once again, I do really enjoy and recommend this restaurant, but if they don't start getting with the times their loyal fan base will start to fade away.
