  • i moved into the neighbourhood recently and wandered around to see the cafe culture. ezra's fit the bill -- excellent coffee, tasty pastries (try the scones!), nice service, good music and a relaxed atmosphere. i especially like that if you get coffee to stay, they bring a little setup to your table with everything you'll need for your coffee, and an appropriately sized glass of water. it's something i always have with my coffee and i really appreciate that nice touch. i dock 1 star because, as others have pointed out, it's a bit ridiculously priced for coffee. i've had just as good stuff elsewhere in the city for a reasonable price. but i'll still go on occasion and enjoy the atmosphere.
