  • the sheer size of the fish in my fish and chips somewhat made up for the sub par service we got at the Roy... not sure if they were understaffed but we went in, no one was there, waited, finally got seated, waited some more for the menus and finally waited some more for someone to show up to take the orders. I think by the time we got our food, anything edible would have been good. the place wasn't packed at all and it seemed the crew there were friendly to the regulars. Food was not bad, not amazing. Big plus really was the huge portion of fish and the very reasonable prices. food 3, service 2. = 2.5.
