  • There is a recruiter named Jordyn in the Tempe Office of Aerotek that is a complete self-serving ***!I was clinically diagnosed with a temporary condition, causing paralysis to my face. Jordyn knew of this and yet, proceeded to schedule me for an 8:30am interview this Morning, giving me less than 24 hours to prepare. I left my house just after 8am, my gps was showing it was a 15 minute ETA. However, Each route I attempted was blocked with traffic. The medical condition also affects my eyesight and driving is difficult. I should have never accepted or agreed to this appointment, but she was adamant about it and I didn't want to disappoint her. I made it to the appointment, but I was 10 minutes late. The company was extremely rude and denied my appointment. Shortly after, I received a call from Jordyn--who proceeded to "*** me out" and not even listen to my side of the circumstances. Funny thing about this, when Jordyn originally contacted me, I told her I had already accepted another job. She still started discussing a job that sounded even better than the one I had already accepted, so I was interested...later to find out she had lied and mis-represented this opportunity. Then, she called me back and said I found a job that matches all of your wants. Unfortunately, I was late for the intereview and Jordyn "dismissed" me.I gave her a second chance, but I guess that only goes one way in this company.
