  • My wife and I stayed at the Delta Toronto for one night while in town to see the Killers in Concert at Air Canada. While doing my research online beforehand what swung it for me were the reviews mentioning the hotel was connected to the "PATH" system and you could walk to the Air Canada Centre ( and many other things ) without having to step outside ( there was a record setting cold front in town while we were there with -25 wind chills ) which was a HUGE bonus for us. After making the just under 2 hour drive from Buffalo we pulled into the underground parking garage at the Hotel ( $35CAD for 24 hours ..not bad for Toronto ) and managed to park right near the elevators to take you to the lobby. I already had the app on my phone to check in but because my iPhone needs a new battery ( Damn you Apple ) it was just quicker to walk right up to the front desk and check in with them ( very friendly gentleman named Igor checked us in ). We were handed our room keys to our 31st floor corner soaker tub room and off we went. Only 3 elevators served the floor we were staying on and because one of the elevators was out of order it took quite some time to get up there, but no big deal. We walked into our room and the room was standard size for a big city like Toronto ( read small ) but very modern and the bathroom offered insanely awesome views of the lake and downtown Toronto ( floor to ceiling windows where you can soak in the tub and soak in the view ). After chilling out in the room for a while we headed to the lobby to check out the on-site restaurant ( SoCo, which I covered in a separate review ) which was awesome and then found the entrance to the "PATH" system ( 2nd floor around the corner if you need to know ) and we walked to the Air Canada Centre in just over 5 minutes.....AWESOME !!! Overall for what worked out to be about $250CAD a night for one of the best locations in town, a modern hotel with great service and a phenomenal room I really can't find anything to complain about.....highly recommended !!!!!!!
