How do I start? How does a place treat their guests so badly??
We called a week before and booked an event and told them that 40 people were coming.
They offer to give us tickets for two one dollar well drinks, or draft beers, or glasses of house wine. Everyone who ordered well drinks were charged, sometimes up to $ 9.00 for watered down drinks served in extra small children's cups.
We were given two small tables with three wobbly bar stools. For forty people? SERIOUSLY? NO place to check coats.
I asked to see the bar manager, who reeked of alcohol and speaking with a slurred speech as to why they overbooked the place and where are remaining tables were. He did not even apologize. He said "That's just the way it is. We are very busy."
No food??? No snacks???? And people crawling over us to get to their tables because they had all this caution tape all over the place. When guests tried to move the tape, they got YELLED at by the cocktail waitresses stating that they were not allowed to sit at the tables they reserved until the show started. WHAT? Stand for an HOUR when we have RESERVED tables????
Then why was everyone allowed on the stage to crowd the performers?
If I was a performer, I would have stopped the show, and walked off the stage. I felt sorry for them, because they were busting their asses trying to entertain the very drunk and obnoxious crowd.
I noticed blocked exits also. A fire hazard. I should have called the fire department and shut this place down. Or the health department for the filth. Or the LCB for allowing drunk managers to serve drinks.
We will NOT be back. There are plenty of other places in Downtown Pittsburgh that give better service than these trained clueless chimpanzees.
