Very unfortunate experience at Matthews Power Equipment. Honda mower needed repair of transmission. Needing replacement. Following repair (1 week), we went to start it and after many tries, it failed to start and gas was coming out of muffler. Took the mower back in. After conversation with technician it was determined the needle in the carb was stuck. When my wife stopped to check on the mower that afternoon the technician was extremely rude and actually "accused" us of tipping the mower over. When we explained, this did not happen...he continued to say we were wrong. And even went so far as to sling the air filter across shop. He acted as though we had broken his lawn mower. We didn't care how it happened, we just wanted it fixed and were willing to pay, which we did. As a former small business owner I know that this is not the way you treat customers, especially repeat customers that constantly refer business.
