| - Others have noted that this is one of the older and smaller Winners. They didn't highlight that it is also much more cramped, messy, run-down, and in other ways inferior to the other WInners. The location is convenient, but so what if you're unlikely to find something to buy and have an uncomfortable time hunting. The whole reason to go a Winners is the hunt, the chance that you'll find a treasure that you wanted to buy anyway, but at a lower price. Seems less likely here and so I'll probably not bother to come back.
And as Christine has pointed out, though the place sells the same sort of second-rate merchandise as its brethren stateside (Ross, TJMaxx, Home Goods, Marshall's, etc.), the prices are consistently higher. But the difference matches the price difference in retail prices. It's just that Canadian retail prices are typically 20-40% higher than US prices, so if you're saving 30% off Canadian retail prices it may still be more expensive than normal retail in the US. That's only a consideration if shopping in the US is an option for you.
The bottom line is that for Winners to be worth the trip you have to get lucky. But the trip to this branch isn't a good gamble. Bad odds.
