  • I had blood work done on Wednesday and the nurse called me Thursday night at 7PM with the results. I missed the phone call because I didn't expect a call that late. I had called the office five times that day left three messages waiting for the results. The nurse left a message and says to call her back so I did and it says the office is closed. I called her not five minutes after she left the message. Why not leave a direct phone number so I can reach you right away if you're still there? So I called the office Friday morning. The office is CLOSED on Fridays!! You cannot get ahold of any nurses or doctors during that time. So I have to wait all weekend for my results. So here it is Monday and I called the nurse back and I got her voicemail once again I left a message and I'm waiting for these results that I need ASAP. Dr. Sauter and Dr. Leon are amazing doctors. Dr. Leon delivered my son. But the front house staff is incompetent. You have to be really pushy to get taken care of here. I had two miscarriages before this pregnancy so I have to be really pushy to get my blood work to make sure all my levels are OK and I'm not going to miscarry again. Also I need to know my levels to see if they're going to put me on any hormone treatment like last time. And those treatments need to be done with in the first trimester. I am 41 years old with two miscarriages and the staff had the guts to tell me that I'm overreacting in wanting immediate care! I wanted an ultrasound and blood work done ASAP. Also if you're pregnant and you make an appointment to see the doctor you don't see the doctor right away. You see the nurse practitioner for the first two appointments then around your second trimester you see the doctor. I've never been to an OB/GYN's office where you don't see the doctor in the first appointment! I'm not sure if this is just Vegas and this is how they do things here but I've never received such lack of care and concern for their patients. When I could not get a mhold of anybody last week after the nurse left me a message I called high-risk pregnancy doctors office and I have an appointment next week and I will see the doctor on my first appointment and have an alter sound done plus bloodwork ASAP. I cannot go through another pregnancy dealing with the stress and headaches the front office gives me. That's too bad because the doctors are awesome. I do like the phlebotomist she is in house and doesn't amazing job and the ultrasound tech is also in house and does an amazing job. If you can get past the front desk and be pushy in receiving care then you'll be OK. Also the billing department messed up a couple of times so make sure they are billing you correctly.
