| - Oh, wow. This is one of those places that makes me glad I don't live nearby, or I could seriously pack on the pounds. While visiting family, we rounded up the kids and headed out for ice cream.
The menu board had me at "salted caramel." That, and two ice creams made with Oregon fruit (one with Bing cherries, the other with blackberries). Oh, but then there's a lavender-honey seasonal flavor. I could perhaps have tested the patience of the service staff, asking for spoon after spoon.
But then the king of flavors caught my eye. Salted caramel ... in chocolate. Questions done, sold and sold.
Rich, creamy, and delish. I wanted it to last, and yet I wanted to devour it. I now know where to prod relatives to go when I visit and they ask, "so, what do you want to do?" I want to camp out at Mitchell's and taste my way to nirvana.
