My experience was horrible, probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I bought a golf bag less than a year ago from the San Tan village store, it was an online purchase that a sales agent helped me place because the store didn't have it in stock.
After 10 months the handle broke. I contacted customer service via phone and was told the golf bag had a 1 year warranty. I went back to the same store and purchase another bag from a sales agent and was instructed to bring the broken bag back. I took the broken bag back when the new bag was delivered two weeks later. The cashier in the customer service area contacted a manager and I overheard him say how should we handle this and then I was told that they would not take it back because it had been over 90 days. I was advised I needed to contact the manufacturer to return it and when I asked who that was I was told "I don't know". Having no instruction on how to return the broken bag, I went home and got the new bag and returned it the same day, keeping the old bag with the broken handle. If they are going to sale warrantied items, they should know how to handle the returning of items that are under warranty. The entire process was ridiculous as no one had the know how or empowerment to take action. I had to take numerous trips and spend hours dealing with Dicks inability to help their customers.My family and I have been loyal Dick's customers for years. We will never shop Dick's again.
