Well, two plus years later and I made it back up this beast of a mountain. Tough to rate this hike with stars because the climb itself is like 2 stars, but getting to the top rewards you with five star views. On this day, a female had to be airlifted off the mountain after fracturing her ankle badly. The parking lot got a big bigger since my last visit, but the climb up is still brutal. You still have get up three huge rocky areas and two other areas that include those handrails. This time, it took about 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to the top and it was only semi crowded on a weekday. The way down is even harder and that was a 90 minute journey. Your thighs will be sore if you did everything right the next day. Still, great views on the peak, so do it once or twice, but that's all I would suggest ever.
