| - It took me a really long time to walk into this place because, when it opened, it looked really junky and run-down from the outside. The quality of the signage and the brochures we received in our mail did NOT make this place look appealing and did not give me confidence that I was going to get quality food. Their website doesn't help much either.
Fast forward two years and I'm running late, got nothin' in the fridge and need something for dinner quick. Enter Euro Pasta.
They have fresh, ready-made pasta dishes in a case at the front. Lasagna, spaghetti, penne, fussili ... you name it. And many of these come in two sizes which basically amount to a small and a large. Great for dinner for one or if you're feeding a family. I was also surprised to learn that they sell these same items but frozen. I think they also sell their fresh or frozen pasta for you to cook at home. They also sell baked goods. I took a few cookies home. And they also have salads and a few other items that they make. Everything is made fresh. When you talk to the staff there, you learn about how they make all their food fresh. You can even see the women in the back kitchen cooking as you order. They also sell a few italian grocery items like olive oil, pastas, sauces, etc.
I've been back twice now. The first time I ordered the lasagna and the second time I ordered the penne. Both times I was impressed. I wouldn't rate it 5-star quality but I would absolutely recommend it. My husband is italian and grew up on *real* italian food so he thinks he knows things. Whether he does or doesn't, he is critical of italian cooking and he praised Euro Pasta's dishes. They are simple dishes and you can absolutely taste the freshness.
So I'm sorry I misjudged this place based on what it looked like. Their food is fresh and SO great to have if you are in a pinch and don't want junky fast food from a chain. I recommend it.
