The appeal of this place is that it's the only Eastern European restaurant/market I can think of in the East Valley. The pierogies are all quite expensive considering this is poor people food from the former Soviet Union. I think a dozen pierogies are about 13 dollars, much more expensive than I think pierogies should be. It's kind of like tacos costing $8 per taco - they just dont cost that much to make so it seems hard to justify high prices.
Despite the relatively high cost, it's nice to have the option to buy things you cant buy at a regular grocery store. The dessert pierogies are very good (apple cinnamon) and the beef cabbage roll was flavorful.
