  • Allstate "redlines" neighborhoods/zip codes it thinks are high risk, a practice that has been outlawed in other industries. Thus, this agency tends to exploit and discriminate against the very customers it seeks to attract. I went to this office because they are bilingual, but what a disappointment! The agent who assisted me was new and inexperienced and ended up giving me quotes that were 50% - 75% more than I'm currently paying. Mr Vasquez who owns the office even assisted his newbie agent at one point but failed to introduce himself or even make eye contact with me, despite the fact that I'm also a businessman in the community--how arrogant. To make matters worse, Mr Vasquez's boyfriend blew into the office like a hurricane while I was there, shouting greetings to all the agents in a disruptive and unprofessional manner. This is another example of a business where the numerous 5-star reviews here on Yelp simply isn't credible.
