| - The big positive of Harvest is the quality of food that they bring to this area. Solon is crammed with chain restaurants, and the option for a nice evening and nice meal are hard to come by.
My husband ordered a salmon special, which was good, but not terribly memorable. I ordered the pork chops, which were very good, and I would order them again. I had to order them well done since I am currently pregnant, and the waiter seemed to have a hard time wrapping his head around that concept. We had the bread pudding for dessert. I am not a bread pudding fan, but this was awesome! Definitely the highlight of the meal.
The reason I can't give Harvest 5 stars is the price. For what we paid, I was expecting a dining experience more along the lines of Lola, Dante, or Crop. I understand that they use a high level of quality ingredients, but I just didn't walk out of there thinking "I have to come back!" Once I am able to drink (they have a great beer and wine selection), I would be more likely to stop in and sit at the bar for a drink and app/salad, than I would a full meal. The food is very good, the price is just a bit of a deterrent.
