lice suck. after spending over 3 hours combing live out of my daughters hair only to see tons of nits still the next day that the comb in the nix pack didn't grab (metal comb too not the even worse plastic one) in frustration I took to google AGAIN trying to find what would be the best solution and I came across an article where the mom had someone come to her house and remove lice from the whole family whaaaaa??? I googled lice removal and it's a thing! I found the nit nabber website most informative and was able to set up an appointment through Jessica via text for the next day (today) Barb showed up and took care of me (I'd started a bed and breakfast for lice on my own head apparently) I only had a few but eeeew. and that's a few which as I saw on my daughters head turns to many.
we can only speculate how or when (by numbers several months ago) my daughter got lice. She had 3 head checks and a hair cut that hadn't caught anything in the past couple of weeks. they just hide really well in her masses of hair!
after the lice were gone Barb talked me through how to do a weekly check and left me the comb. It's not the store comb. it's a Nit Free Terminator comb. which is an awesome name. we also have the Nit free detangler spray because lice don't like peppermint (good to know) so we will spritz that before heading out as well.
Barb was great company we had some fun talks while she worked and eradicated those pesky lice from our heads and home. I recommend Barb and the Nit Nabbers 100%. I just wish I'd known and called them originally before spending $50 on product that didn't work and spend 4 hours of my life I'll never get back.
so so happy
