Wahhh.
I was stoked to try Maggie's Farm Rum when I was in Pittsburgh a few weekends ago. I'd heard their rum was stellar and their cocktails were good too. I'm also generally a fan of anyone trying to do something different or unexpected, and I'd classify this under those categories.
My friends and I headed in on a weekend afternoon ready to sample some rum. We were the only people in the distillery and bought a tasting each to try. The rums were pretty good and I am not a big rum fan. However the customer service was awful, we tried asking questions about the rum and making conversation and we were completely ignored, it made us feel super uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I hear ya if you're having a bad day, but then you should be careful in a people facing role especially at an up and coming distillery. I am not excited to come back because honestly I was turned off after this experience, this is sad because the rum was good and my dark and stormy was pretty damn tasty as well.
