| - Dined here for the first time a couple of nights ago and can say that I was very impressed!
I like to come through places like this and tune into a sporting event over a drink and conversation with friends of mine, so the bar is generally our scene. We had an appetizer and a couple of drinks and I can honestly say that if you're thinking about swinging through here, you won't be disappointed. It's a great environment and Gilbert did a fantastic job, I never once felt like I wasn't being attended to in an exceptional manner. That being said, I can't speak for the rest of the restaurant, but I can say that in past experiences, a great bar means a great restaurant, as the bar is often times the busiest and hardest to manage. I attribute this solely to a great bartender with a good personality who has an understanding for his / her job, and isn't there merely for looks.
In the end, I'm sure the entrees are great, but all we had were some appetizers and a few drinks, of which I was very pleased with the quality of and beyond pleased with the quality of the staff. In my opinion, hire more people like the bartender Gilbert, as the staff can set the tone right from the start.
