Make sure you book with someone you know is reliable. I've been to this salon twice and had a good experience the first time, but a terrible one the second time that will keep me from going back. I walked in and was given a male pedicurist who dug one of his tools along the side if my nail causing me to scream in pain! My toe was bright red and swollen and throbbing. He glossed over it like it was no big deal and continued on. I was annoyed at that point because that's never happened to me before and you hear horror stories about nail infections. After a mediocre scrub and massage, he painted my nails. I go to a nail salon and pay for pedicures because when I paint my nails, I get polish on my skin or I don't paint the sides of my nails because I know I will paint my skin. This guy painted so much of my skin on some toes and missed so much of my nails on other toes that it looked like my 3 year old painted it! I pointed it out to him and he pulls out a paint brush and dips it into nail polish remover (cringe!). You know it's bad when they pull out the paint brush. His attempts to remove the polish bleeding over to my skin left me with jagged coats of polish making it look like my polish was already chipping off. I give up at this point and go to the front to request someone different to fix it but they give me him!?!? What??? He makes another attempt, putting coat after coat, ultimately not fixing the issues and now making the polish darker that I would've liked. Never again! This salon hires inexperienced staff. They were busy that day so maybe he doesn't normally do nails but the salon should know better than to utilize someone who clearly doesn't know how to clean or polish nails. I'm trekking back up to dilworth nails going forward.
