The food was very good. The ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly. The beets and fingerling potatoes with duck confit were delicious, but the waiter, although attentive, was not all that friendly; and came off as quite pretentious. When we asked if he had Ripasso wine he said he had no Chianti Ripasso. I always thought there was Valpolicella Ripasso, never Chianti. He said yes, it's Chianti Ripasso, and Ripasso refers to the region the wine is from. When I told him I thought it referred to the process of the way the wine was made he said no. Look it up! I guess I'm not a connoisseur, and I wasn't so irked by the fact he thought he was right and I was wrong, I just didn't like the way he presented himself which is too bad because the food is good.
