| - The location of these apartments are great, right off 9th street right between Bell and Union Hills on Grovers. There are many things I liked and disliked about this place. Likes: its located within a mile of major shopping store, Frys, Safeway and Target and eateries, you name a fast food joint and its probably within 2miles of the complex as well as many sot down places as well. The price for the aparyment itself can't be beat in the north phoenix area, actually not in the phoenix area in general. I was paying approx 500 dollars a month for a 1 bedroom 720sq foot apartment, great price for the size. This complex also has 2 pools and kinda a spa too ( the spa is Inside right nextto the office and is locked most of the time). The only other thing that I actualy like about this place is that they have a tennis court and it is right across from the comunnity center. They surprisingly have alot of guest parking, covered amd uncovered which is nice if you ever have guests over. Things I dislike: first off the managment here is terrible. While signinge lease I was promised 3 different apartments before they found one that was not already rented ( seriously they showed me an apartment aomeone had already moved into, amd they were home, talk about awkward) and was actually ready to be moved into. I was told they had a dog park, I went to check it out and its just a.squar of cement with a fence around it. They do have a volleyball court, to bad the whole time I lives there I never saw a net (better bring your own lol) The walls are pretty thin as most apartments are but there are so many unsupervised small children running around at all hours of the day and night. Dont ever be late on rent, just 3 days late will cost you at least 150 dollars in fees, no exception. They make it pretty difficult because they dont have a rent drop box so you have to drop a money order off in person while the office is open. Oh and while you do you pre move in walk through i would strongly advise to have a managment employee with u (yes they had me do my walk trough alone) amd to have them fix any issues before you actually take the keys to move in. I did my walk through amd then signed my lease and told them things needed to be fixed, like my dish washer didnt work, they NEVER came to fix it whith the 10 or ao requests i put in, eventually i just stopped trying. Don't believe them when they tell you that the complex has 24/7 emergency maintenance. I reffered a friend to live there shortly after moving in amd his 4th night there his apartment flooded at approximatly 2am. It flooded becuse somehow the toilet in the vacant apartment above him had a pipe bust and the waterstaryed to rain down into his apartment from the ceiling. There was literally over am inch of water in his apartment. He called to emergency number, not only did it take him an hour to finally reach somebody but it took until almost 6am ( yes 4 hours after the issue began) for aomeone to show up to turn the water off in the upstairs apartment. In the Maintenace guys defence he was helpful once he got there, he made all the calls nesisary to get wet vacs to his apartment along with giant fans to dry it out. My friend obviouly very upset, i mean he literally has lived there 4 days, spoke with managment when they arrived in the office. They didnt seem to care at all about what had taken place and simply told him to call his insurance company. They were unwilling to do anything at all to help him, no reduced rent, literally not a thing for him until the insurance adjuster finally was able to get there and tell them what needed to br replaced. The 2 days he had to spend in a hotel while they remove and replace the lamonet flooring was not paid for by the complex, he had to pay for it himself(which can be a little pricey for a no notice kinda thing) and then wait almost 3 weeks to be reinburst by the insurance company. On another note there must be a police and fire department near by because they were always there, i mean there is a security guard there most evenings too so i wasnt sure weather to feel safe or confused most of the time lol. All in all i say if you're younger (up to mid 20's) or on a strict budget id say yea for the price and space you get, move on in you'll probably like it for the most part because u wont care to much about the negative things there. If you're more on the picky side and expect to be dealing with a compatent managment team that actually cares about its tenants i'd suggest you possibly looking elsewere! Thank you for taking the time to read this review.
