  • Architecturally, these buildings are much more appealing than the industrial vibe at The International Centre. High ceilings, floor-to-ceilings windows at the entrances, and just generally a newer feel. HOWEVER, this is where the Direct Energy Centre fails...PARKING. Unlike the Int'l Centre, parking isn't free here. In fact, it's a complete rip off at $14! Surface parking is the same as their underground lot. Depending on the event that you're attending, I think this is pretty steep! What's even worse is that many of the surface lots are cornered off, so you'll drive around the entire lot...without even finding where the opening is. It's quite frustrating. If it's a popular event like One of a Kind, fine charge $14 by all means. However, if it's a dinky, low attendance affair like LoveArt OR even the Umbra sale, can't you just open up 1 X $10 lot?? I don't really get paying for parking when you're already paying for merch.
