  • Disappointed in their noncompetitive and overcharging practice. I was referred here by another groomer in the area. Upon my arrival, I was looked at in shock and after a few moments was asked why I was there. Confused that I was possibly in the wrong establishment, I stated I needed my dog's (in my arms) claws trimmed and anal glands expressed. I asked if that was something they did and if it was available at that time; it was. A woman took my dog and I asked what the charge was for this service. She did not know. The gentleman behind the counter told me $15. I asked if I was able to leave my dog there for 15-20 minutes while I ran an errand and was told yes. I returned within that time frame at which point I asked if the $15 was a new customer charge as it is 3X the price for the same exact service at another local groomer. They confirmed the price as is. As I left, I asked the gentleman if they were able to express my dog's glands and he said yes. Two days later, my dog started scooting around indicating an issue with her glands, as she does not have any other health concerns and is tiny. I now have to take her some place else and pay even more money. Needless to say, I will avoid this establishment in the future.
