| - Love the look of this place, you walk in and it's like you time traveled back to the early 1900's. Dimly lit, with candles in mason jars at every table, gorgeous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling along the bar, a shade of maroon painted on the tin ceiling, and books upon books everywhere.
Our wait was about an hour, but we got there right at the dinner rush. It's a bit crowded as the place was beyond busy and nowhere to really stand while waiting for your table. But the awesome service and outstanding food makes up for it.
Our waiter was absolutely the sweetest guy ever. He made our dining experience wonderful. Our table was a bit wobbly but not terrible to where we would have to mention it to him, but he noticed it and instantly fixed it by placing something under it. I ended up getting the Weary Traveler Ruben, which was fantastic. It came with Potato salad and Kale salad. The sandwich was so big I couldn't even eat one half as much as I wanted to.
What made the whole experience was.our server, and the host. I believe that the host was actually the owner. He was so sweet, and really liked our group as he talked to us for about 10 minutes when we first put our name in. Then, when he sat us down to our table, he talked to us even more, explained a new menu item that he made up in honor of his father, and that we were sitting next to his skis that decorated the wall!
Awesome place, can't wait to check it out again!
