| - Let me start by saying that I like the Brio. It's really a nice venue and they have great outdoor patio seating. Also, their entrées are a cut above for an upscale fast casual restaurant, and their prices are reasonable. The entrées on my previous visits have been consistently good. Not so much on my latest visit. I ordered the Ham & Biscuit Benedict, $10.50 off the Brunch Menu. It consists of two poached cage free eggs, Cherrywood smoked ham, housemade biscuit and hollandaise, served with brunch potatoes. First, I was disappointed in the fact that my breakfast was not hot and was served cold. Bottom line, hot food should be served hot. The Cherrywood smoked ham had no flavor due to it being over cooked, as a result it was tough and chewy. Likewise, the house made biscuit was hard as a rock. On my previous visit their brunch potatoes were a big hit with everyone. This time they were over seasoned and very salty. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise was good. Two other people in our party had the same entrée and made same or similar comments. Service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. In closing, I recommend the Brio. However, I do not recommend this entrée.
