I'm not a fan of big box stores, so when my husband happened across this local chain of baby boutiques and there was one not too far from home, I was looking forward to checking it out.
The main purpose of our visit was to choose a carseat/stroller "system" for our baby-to-be. This is a fairly big-ticket item for a tiny person, so we were expecting some, well, customer service. What are the choices available, which would be best in our situation, what are the features of each... We made several attempts to flag down someone to talk with us, but each time the person was rushing off to do something else and didn't find time to come back and speak to us when s/he finished that urgent task, as we had requested. I feel not at all guilty for making our purchase of this item from an online store instead of at Bo-Bébé.
Other reviewers have it right -- compare prices before you buy. Bo-Bébé was competitively priced on some items but many others were as much as 50% more for the identical item.
